Soft Coastal Modern in Manhattan Beach
This Manhattan Beach residence is designed with a soft modern coastal approach, using smooth stucco, vertical cedar siding, limestone cladding, and frameless glass railings. The second floor balconies are cantilevered to create shade over the lower-level outdoor living areas.
The open-plan layout organizes the kitchen, dining, and living spaces along the rear of the home with large glass openings to maximize light and connection to the pool and spa. The material palette of stone, wood, and glass was selected to balance durability with a natural coastal expression.
