European Transitional in Pacific Palisades
Laurel Transitional reinterprets traditional European gabled architecture through a modern California lens. The façade layers pale limestone, split-face stone, and vertical wood elements. Steel-framed windows divide the massing, bringing light into the interiors and creating symmetry.
Inside, the open-plan living space connects visually to the landscape through full-height glass, while natural oak beams and stone walls provide continuity with the exterior palette. The architecture emphasizes proportion, natural light, and craftsmanship rather than ornamentation.
